Halloween at E!

Adrienne and Maura made their way over to E! for its annual Halloween kids' day thing. Getting there is an event in itself, so we consider that a pretty big deal. We hung with friends, ate candy and tried to not have Adrienne overheat in her chili pepper outfit. Only thing we forgot: Taking lots of pictures. We'll have to work on that. Halloween Preview!

Due to popular demand (okay, one request), here's a preview of Adrienne's Halloween debut outfit. The photo was taken during a test run to make sure we're all cool with it. And from the look on her face, she's ready to rock it--we think. You'll have to wait until after the big day for the whole enchilada (and no, she's not going as an enchilada).

During a relaxing Saturday brunch with Sherri and Rebecca, Adrienne got all up in Rebecca's hair for a little fashion show/gaze into your hair follicle future sort of thing.

We Have Visitors!

Oh, the grand plans you have when the baby arrives. We thought that we'd take pictures of every visitor who drops in and says hello to Adrienne and post them on this here blog.

And then we forgot to take pictures of more than half of them.

One Month Down, Many More To Go

Adrienne as been out of her mom's belly for one whole month.

That's a lot of diaper changes, hours of crying, some sleep, tons of eating, and, at last count, a significant strides in the weight and height areas. She can't quite blow out candles or eat cake yet, so what better way to celebrate the Big 0.083333 (do the math) than with some hot shots? Here are some of Adrienne's finer moments over the last few days...

To Grandma's House We Go

Last weekend Adrienne embarked on her longest car ride yet--a harrowing 85.9 mile journey (according to Google Maps) to Hemet, California to see J.R.'s mom grandma. Adrienne's Big Day Out

This week brought both Maura's and Adrienne's first doctor appointment since Adrienne's big b-day on Sept. 19. So that meant…


…Adrienne got to dip into her wardrobe of cute, big girl outfits…



…for the first time in three weeks Maura got to wear big girl pants again…



…we visited with Dr. Parks who delivered Adrienne. Some stats from Adrienne's check-up the next day:

AT BIRTH:
Weight: 9 lbs., 5 oz.
Length: 20.25 inches

AT TWO WEEKS:
Weight: 10 lbs. 2 oz.
Length: 22 inches

…and then we stopped for Chinese food, which right now makes for a pretty full day in the Griffin household.
