So we took the giant leap into the HDTV world with a 46-incher. It's about twice as long as Adrienne and almost as adorable. Sure, it's probably too big for our living room, but we'll grow into it. Or something.
Adrienne sure seems happy with the new addition to the family. Here's a picture for perspective.

Still Not Bananas for Bananas, Maybe OK with Coldplay
Don't know if all of the head shaking in this video is because Adrienne still isn't into bananas or she is digging the sound of new Coldplay music in the background. Either way, it's some top-notch baby cinema.

Vistors from the Far East
Joe, Joey and Janine said they came out to Cali to check out some schools. But we really know they came here to see one baby in particular. Our adventures:
When you're in Cali, you've got to sport cool sunglasses. It took Adrienne a bit to warm up to these shades that Janine got for her, but she eventually rocked them.
We headed off to the beach, where Adrienne got her hands on the Pacific Ocean.
It wouldn't be a beach day without some artistic black and white baby shots.
We held the baby up near all of the major tourist attractions: Mann's Chinese Theater...
...The Hollywood sign...
...where Adrienne's rebellious spirit got the best of her and she was planning on ignoring all warning signs...
...but Joey really did. (Just for a little bit, though.)
Yes, we went to all of the major stops--including Sprinkles and Pinkberry (twice!).
Then we took a family portrait at the place that started it all. And if you come to Cali, we'll force you to go here also.
Here's a slideshow of the whole thing.

Group Baby Pictures Are Hard to Do
It's rather easy to get adorable side-by-side baby pictures when those lovable little scamps are in the arms of their parents. However, it's rather difficult when you get into the whole propping them up thing. Need further proof? Try this double baby shot at Jet Ngo's one-year birthday bash on for size.
First, here's the man of the day, enjoying some of his birthday cupcake (and by "some" we mean the part that actually made it into his mouth).
Things start off innocent enough, if a tad blurry.
You try to get a kid hopped up on a cupcake and another scanning for milk to look the same way.
Then Adrienne decided to eat her silver and gold party shoes. Who could blame her, they are delicious.
Then we fell over...
...and again...
...then it was pretty much all over. Maybe next time, kids...

Squirrels, Balloons, Rattles
Adrienne is more mobile and grabby than ever, enjoying some new things in life, such as balloons, rattles, and rolling around. Some odds and ends:
Adrienne's new favorite obsession is the "Rattle-pillar"-- a caterpillar-shaped rattle, that has become a must-have in the car and a fun thing to get out when you want to see a baby explode with excitement.
When visiting the family the other week both Adrienne and her uncle Jeff had a meltdown at the Claim Jumper. See the resemblance?
Adrienne's afternoon at the park was interrupted by the very brave squirrel, who obviously had no idea that getting too close to a this baby meant you were going in her mouth.
Another new obsession: balloons. They bop around, they make noise and, luckily, one hasn't flown away into the sky or popped in her face yet. So they still fall into the 100% fun category.
This is catching Adrienne mid-roll, who then decided to play with toy for about ten minutes with her feet. That party trick will come in handy...someday.

Music Video Break
This doesn't have much to do with Adrienne, except that Regan Avery, the co-director of this music video, came to Cali and hung out with Adrienne. And well, it's made with toys, which Adrienne would love to put in her mouth. The music and co-directing skills are supplied by Mr. Max Avery Lichtenstein (aka Camphor).
